In September 2021 the new NAPCORE – National Access Point Coordination Organisation for Europe was officially launched. Financed by the European Commission under the CEF programme and lasting 3 years, NAPCORE will build on the results of two previous projects, TN-ITS and TN-ITS GO, to empower the National Access Points (NAPs) as the backbone for ITS digital infrastructure. NAPCORE will also facilitate national & EU broad operational coordination for the harmonisation and implementation of European specifications.
